REQUEST FOR CONSULTANT

The Forum on Public-Private Partnerships (which has
NACA as secretariat), with support from ILO/UNAIDS,
wishes to engage a consultant to work on the National
Framework for Private Sector Response & Public-Private
Partnerships on HIV/AIDS in Nigeria and to facilitate
the launching of the framework.

The consultant will carry out the assignment under the
leadership and technical guidance of the PPP Forum and
NACA as its Secretariat and under the administrative
supervision of the UNAIDS Country Coordinator and the
ILO representative.

Specific duties of the consultant:

1. To collect and study available relevant documentation
2. To identify gaps in information available and develop
tools to fill identified gaps
3. To consult and conduct interviews with key stakeholders,
especially employers organizations (like NIBUCAA, MAN, NECA
& NACCIMA), trade unions (like NLC and TUC), relevant
ministries (like Labor, Health, Commerce & Industry), service
providers, donors, etc.
4. To develop the draft national framework, to be
presented to the PPP Forum
5. To incorporate the comments of the key
stakeholders, revise and finalize the framework
6. To prepare the documents for launching and to
provide logistical support for the organization of the launch
7. To prepare and submit the report of the launch

Expected outputs:

1. Detailed process report
2. Draft National Framework for Private Sector
Response and Public-Private Partnerships on
HIV/AIDS
3. Report of the launch of the national framework

Profile of the consultant:
- Proven skills and experience in information
collection, collation and analysis
- Excellent report writing skills
- In-depth knowledge of HIV/AIDS workplace issues and
the business sector response in the country
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficiency in English
- Proof of similar work done before.

Time frame:
Duration: 5 weeks
